POT delivered two 82K bulk carriers hatch covers

Recently, POT successfully delivered two 82K bulk carrier hatch covers in accordance with the shipyard node plan.

The hatch covers were undertaken by POT from Qingdao Shipyard Co., LTD. Frontline management AS the owner and DNV as the classification society. Prior to undertaking the project, POT obtained WWA certification and obtained 27 copies WPS from DNV. After undertaking the project, POT adopted 3D design software to carry out the production design of the project. POT has 5 sets of laser/plasma cutting machines, steel plate/structure pre-treatment production line, nearly 50,000 square meters of hatch cover construction site, green and modern sand blasting&painting workshops, good dock loading resources, in the project implementation process, POT with its strong construction capacity, through scientific organization and reasonable arrangement of processes to accomplish the building project. It has been highly recognized and praised by shipowners, ship inspectors and shipyards due to the good quality.

Up to now, POT still has nearly 10,000 tons of hatch cover construction contracts, and has also made friendly contacts with major shipyards at home and abroad to gradually stabilize this production.
