On January 30, the world's first "dry-firing I desulfurization tower", designed and manufactured by Paisen Huanke and modified by Xinhong Heavy Industry, was installed on the Singapore-registered "Kalimantan" ship. The ship has successfully completed the trial on February 1, and passed the acceptance of the American ABS Classification Society, and was delivered to the sea on February 2.

After one day's trial, ABS surveyors witnessed and confirmed that the sulfur/carbon ratio of "Kalimantan" desulfurization scrubbing system was in the range of 0.8-1.2(IMO 0.1S emission standard 4.37), which fully met the IMO 0.1S emission standard. Comply with the requirements of the navigation area "sulfur limit".

The 25-day contract completed the ship's renovation, installation and delivery two days ahead of schedule. And it is determined to cooperate with our company again to refit its second desulfurization ship in late March. The "Kalimantan" wheel line is the second set of desulfurization refit project completed by our company after the Hong Kong registered "Baorong" ship. At present, the cooperation between Pessen and Xinhong Heavy Industry Co., Ltd gives Pessen an industrial chain advantage in the design, transformation, installation and commissioning of ship desulfurization system.
